HB03457: AN ACT CLASSIFYING THE SAN FERNANDO BYPASS ROAD AND SAN FERNANDO BYPASS EXTENSION ROAD IN THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION, INTO NATIONAL ROADS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND RENAMING THE SAME ROADS TO GOV. JUSTO O. ORROS, JR. HIGHWAY
This bill seeks to classify the San Fernando Bypass Road and the San Fernando Bypass Road Extension, located in the Province of La Union, as national roads and for the appropriation of funds for their repair, improvement and maintenance.
This would formalize the status of the said roads as national roads and would pave the way for faster flow of services and movement of goods.
The bill also seeks to rename the San Fernando Bypass Road and San Fernando Bypass Road Extension to "Gov. Justo O. Orros, Jr. Highway", in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of the Province of La Union as the 54th Governor and for serving as the Ambassador of the Philippines to Mexico.
