This resolution expresses support for the bid of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) to host the 2023 FIBA World Cup and encourages the government to extend full assistance to the SBP's efforts.

Hosting the FIBA World Cup would bring significant benefits to the Philippines, including global recognition and increased tourism revenue.

The resolution highlights the Philippines' love and passion for basketball, as well as the country's capability to host world-class sporting events.
