HR01621: RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (DICT) TO INCLUDE THE PROVINCES OF PANGASINAN AND NUEVA VIZCAYA IN THE LUZON CLUSTER 1 FIELD OPERATIONS OFFICE (NORTH LUZON CLUSTER OF REGIONS COMPOSED OF REGIONS 1, 2
This resolution recommends to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to include the provinces of Pangasinan and Nueva Vizcaya in the Luzon Cluster 1 Field Operations Office (North Luzon Cluster of Regions composed of Regions 1, 2, and CAR) in the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of DICT programs and services.
It also calls for the creation of a trust fund with a seed amount of not less than one hundred million pesos (P100,000,000.00) which shall be managed by the National Coast Watch Council (NCWC) for additional scientific research, feasibility studies, marine exploration of the region, and acquisition of new equipment to improve the government's research capabilities and further enhance the development strategies of the country.
