This resolution congratulates and commends the members of Gilas Pilipinas for winning the gold medal in the men's basketball event in the 29th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The undefeated Gilas Pilipinas team, composed of cadets and rising young stars, routed Indonesia in the finals with a score of 94 to 55, securing their 18th overall SEA Games medal and their 12th consecutive win in the biennial event.
The team's achievement is a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and relentless pursuit of excellence in basketball, serving as an inspiration to many Filipinos, especially the youth.
