HB06850: AN ACT ESTABLISHING A GENERAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROSALES, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN TO BE KNOWN AS THE CONRADO F. ESTRELLA REGIONAL MEDICAL AND TRAUMA CENTER, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
This House Bill proposes the establishment of a general hospital in the Municipality of Rosales, Province of Pangasinan, to be known as the Eastern Pangasinan Regional Medical and Trauma Center. The hospital will be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH). The objective is to provide a regional medical and trauma center to serve the healthcare needs of the community.
The bill mandates the DOH to immediately include the implementation of this Act in its program and to ensure that funding is included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Any future increases in bed capacity and upgrading of health care services and facilities will align with a hospital development plan prepared by the DOH. The Secretary of Health is also tasked with preparing and issuing the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of the Act within ninety days of its effectivity.
