RA11793: AN ACT SEPARATING THE RODOLFO V. PAMOR JR. MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – SAGÑAY SOUTHEASTERN HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN BARANGAY TURAGUE, MUNICIPALITY OF SAGÑAY, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR FROM THE RODOLFO V. PAMOR JR. MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, CONVERTING
Republic Act No. 11793 formally separates the Sagñay Southeastern High School Annex in Barangay Turague from the Rodolfo V. Pamor Jr. Memorial National High School, establishing it as the independent Turague National High School. This act is significant for the local community as it aims to provide a more focused and potentially enhanced educational environment for students in Barangay Turague and the surrounding areas. By becoming an independent national high school, Turague National High School will have its own dedicated resources, personnel, and administration, which can lead to improved educational facilities and programs tailored to the needs of its students.
The law also ensures the continued operation of the newly independent school by mandating that its initial funding be charged against the current year's appropriation of the former annex, with subsequent funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. This provides financial stability, allowing the school to develop its curriculum, improve infrastructure, and ultimately better serve the educational needs of the youth in the Province of Camarines Sur. The Secretary of Education is also tasked with promulgating implementing rules and regulations to ensure a smooth transition and effective operation of the new school.
