The National Commission for Culture and the Arts Mural Project for the San Fabian Rural Health Unit

The Rural Health Unit of Brgy. Lipit-Tomeeng, San Fabian is Now a Monument of Art!

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Barangay Lipit-Tomeeng in the town of San Fabian has been transformed into a monument of art.

The once traditional RHU has been given a new look, now becoming an Instagram-worthy attraction for the youth and locals who love taking selfies in beautiful places. This is part of the vision of Pangasinan Fourth District Congressman Christopher de Venecia to transform the fourth district he represents into a hub for creative industries.

The congressman's strong collaboration with various government agencies, and the support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the RHU in Lipit-Tomeeng, San Fabian, was successfully transformed into a striking and tourist-friendly landmark.

The team of CCP 13 Artists Awardee Leeroy New, along with local artists from Pangasinan’s Fourth District, created the abstract art featured on the RHU of Lipit-Tomeeng. The RHU is located right next to the now-famous Biker’s Den, which is also a project initiated by Congressman De Venecia.
