The Pangasinan Smiles Photo Exhibit
The Pangasinan Smiles Photo Exhibit held in 2018 showcased personalities who have brought honor, prestige, and greatly contributed to the development and progress not only of the Fourth District of Pangasinan, but of the entire Province of Pangasinan. Some of the notable places where the exhibits were held were at the CSI Lucao Atrium, the Museo de Mangaldan and Heritage Center (MMHC), and the House of Representatives, featuring photographs and stories of individuals who have brought fame and pride to the province. The exhibits aim to capture and celebrate the moments of visitors, highlighting the connection between the past and present through the faces and stories of Pangasinan.

This creative initiative was spearheaded by Congressman Christopher "Toff" De Venecia, Representative of the 4th District of Pangasinan, as part of his broader efforts to promote creative tourism and strengthen the creative industries in the district. Through his leadership and advocacy, the photo exhibit became a meaningful avenue for community engagement, encouraging locals to take pride in their culture and heritage. Congressman De Venecia’s support for the project reflected his commitment to empowering artists and using art as a tool for tourism, cultural preservation, pride and appreciation of local history, and regional development.
