Manaoag Pasalubong Center
The Manaoag Pasalubong Center, a significant landmark for tourists and pilgrims visiting the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag in Pangasinan, was initiated by Fourth District Representative Christopher De Venecia. This PHP14-million project, set to be completed by 2025, is strategically located beside the iconic basilica to enhance the experience for the increasing number of visitors and to invigorate the local economy. Congressman De Venecia has consistently highlighted the center's importance in accommodating pilgrims and tourists, aiming to provide a dedicated space for them to find local products and souvenirs.
This initiative underscores Manaoag's commitment to boosting its tourism appeal, especially with 5.78 million tourist arrivals in 2024. The center, designed by award-winning architects and championed by Congressman De Venecia, aims to provide a dedicated and organized venue for local vendors. This will enable them to showcase and sell a wide array of authentic Pangasinan products, from religious souvenirs to traditional foods, ensuring that visitors can take a piece of Manaoag's rich culture and heritage home.

More than just a marketplace, the Manaoag Pasalubong Center is poised to become a vibrant hub that fosters community development and celebrates local craftsmanship, largely thanks to the vision and efforts of Congressman De Venecia. It will offer a comfortable and engaging shopping experience for pilgrims and tourists, further solidifying Manaoag's reputation as a prime spiritual and cultural destination in the Philippines. As the center nears completion, it promises to enrich the visitor journey and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for the town's residents.
