Anakbanwa Creative Residency Project
The Anakbanwa Creative Residency Project was founded in November 2021 by Congressman Christopher de Venecia. This program is aimed at immersing artists from various disciplines in the rich cultural heritage and ecological landscapes of Pangasinan's 4th district. The program provides a platform for these creatives to engage with local communities, explore diverse artistic processes, and respond to social and environmental issues through their work.

Anakbanwa fosters artistic development through workshops, collaborations, and exhibitions, showcasing the talents of both local and national artists at venues like the historic MacArthur House in Dagupan City.
Over the years, Anakbanwa has evolved to include partnerships with organizations like the Orange Project Art District from Bacolod City and Cavite-based Linangan Art Residency, expanding its reach and impact. The program champions sustainable art practices and aims to create a thriving creative industry in Pangasinan, offering artists opportunities for growth, collaboration, and showcasing their work while promoting the region's cultural identity.
