Taglay Pinoy is a program designed to help Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) thrive in the online world. This is organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Many MSMEs find it challenging to create high-quality digital content, like product photos and descriptions, which are essential for online success. Taglay Pinoy addresses this by providing MSMEs with professionally produced digital assets, giving them a competitive edge in the global market.
CITEM provides MSMEs with:
- Professional product photos: Making their products look their best online.
- Compelling product descriptions: Helping customers understand the value of their products.
- Engaging articles and company profiles: Telling their brand story and building trust with customers.
This content is then featured on CITEM's promotional platforms, including Manila FAME, IFEX Philippines, and CREATEPhilippines, giving MSMEs greater visibility.
Congressman Christopher "Toff" de Venecia, a champion for the creative industry, has been instrumental in supporting Taglay Pinoy. His advocacy and the support of 22 congressional districts demonstrate a strong commitment to empowering Filipino MSMEs.
